Officer Elections
It has been announced that there will be elections held following Spring Break.
Consider this friday, 3/6 to be the first of two 'Campaign Days'. We will again discus issues related to being an officer of the club on Friday, 3/20. Elections will be held 3/27/2009 during our normal meeting times.
Elected officials will take office immediately, and will serve officially from Fall 2009-Spring 2010.
Offices open include President, Vice President and Treasurer. Duties include attendance of VCU Judo meetings, as well as annual SGA/Sports Club responsibilities such as attending certain budget proposal meetings, officer training and budget defense hearings. Typically about 3-4 per year, typically about one hour in length, held on campus during normal business hours, as well as on nights and weekends sometimes. These meetings are usually offered at various times, such that those with schedule conflicts can at least attend one.
Thanks guys!
Here's to a great 2009-2010!

No open mat this semester
Sorry guys!
I was told one thing, but unfortunately it doesn't look like it's working out any time soon, so please be advised:
There will be no open mat from 5 to 6pm
on Friday nights
There will still be practice as normal from 6 until 8pm
Thank you to all those who have made regular attendance a priority under these restrictive circumstances, you are truly the heart of our club!
Candidates for office position please be prepared to present yourselves and make your case in the coming two weeks. We will have elections before spring break.
Thank you!

Randori - 1-30-2009
A recent Randori round between Jason Struck and Daniel Goh
I found it fun reviewing the video, editing and playing certain portions in slow motion; I hope that this serves as a learning aid for the entire club. I look forward to making more...
